Charcoal Charades: A Pictionary-Inspired Creative Jam

Get ready to unleash your imagination and artistic flair at Print Art’s studio on 77 Barrys Point Road in Takapuna, Auckland, for an evening of collaborative fun like no other! On the 5th of October, join us for “Charcoal Charades,” a lively and engaging Creative Jam event where artists of all levels can come together to showcase their skills, guess clues, and enjoy a night of creative camaraderie.

Hosted by Print Art, this unique event puts a creative twist on the classic game of Pictionary. Participants will be divided into teams, and each team will take turns sending one member to the easel for a timed session. Armed with charcoal and a cue card featuring a secret word or phrase, the artist must quickly sketch out their interpretation while the rest of the group attempts to guess the clue.

As the timer counts down, the artist’s creativity will be put to the test as they race against the clock to convey the essence of the clue through their charcoal drawing. From simple shapes to elaborate scenes, anything goes in this fast-paced and exciting game of artistic expression.

Meanwhile, the remaining members of each team will collaborate to guess the clue based on the evolving charcoal sketch. With each stroke of the charcoal, new clues and hints emerge, sparking lively discussions and encouraging creative thinking among the participants.

Throughout the event, laughter will fill the air as teams compete to guess the most clues correctly and showcase their artistic talents. To keep the energy high, drinks and eats will be served, providing the perfect opportunity for participants to mingle, share stories, and bond over their shared love of art and creativity.

At the end of the evening, the teams will come together to celebrate their collective achievements and marvel at the diverse range of interpretations captured on canvas.
