Artweek Auckland
Artweek Auckland is an annual, week-long festival celebrating the visual arts of Auckland. Throughout the week activations will be taking place all over Auckland, newcomers and experts alike can immerse themselves in Auckland’s diverse and vibrant contemporary art scene. Venues include galleries, public, private spaces, pop ups and street art.

Late Night Art
Enjoy LATE NIGHT ART in the Heart of the City on Tuesday 15 October from 5pm to 9pm. As part of Artweek, galleries will be open late, there will be guided walking and cycling tours and live art events. Funded by Auckland Council and Heart of the City and delivered in partnership with Artweek Auckland.

Enjoy a night out on Karangahape Road! Take a friend and explore an exciting mix of art as galleries OPEN LATE. Have a drink or bite to eat along the way or get a culture hit by cycle if you’d rather explore on two wheels. Take a self-guided walk or book into a FREE guided tour.
Friday After 5
‘Friday after 5’ is Devonport’s annual Artweek Street Party. They’re closing off Clarence street, bringing the bands, food trucks, art activations and street games. Celebrate the start of GLOW@Artweek at this awesome event great for all the family.
Auckland Art Gallery
Living Portraits: Mata Raurangi’ engages with Aotearoa New Zealand’s cultural heritage and the importance of people, while offering new insights and perspectives on historical portraits made anew by the contemporary art expressions of descendants today.

Muriwai Arts Open Studios
Muriwai Open Studios provide a unique opportunity to discover the wealth of artistic talent located in Muriwai, a vibrant coastal village and black sand surf beach 30 minutes north of Auckland. Come and visit their studios, talk to the artists and learn about their creative processes.
